Novak Djokovic has always been very attentive to the rights of the world of tennis, to the defense of his colleagues in a world where many difficulties are often encountered. Those who are shortly after the hundredth position in the ranking find it difficult to support themselves only with this sport.

This is also why Nole, together with other tennis players, created the PTPA, an organization that deals with the situation of tennis players. Djokovic and the Canadian Vasek Pospisil are the main exponents and the Serbian champion is always attentive to the problems of others.

Recently, new statements emerged from a PTPA meeting, words that many of my colleagues appreciated, primarily the female Top-10 Ons Jabeur.

Nole released the following statements: "I have been in the place of all those tennis players who now have serious economic difficulties.

I understand their struggle and their difficulties, I know the problems they have in having to pay for travel, coaches and physiotherapists.

In the end if you don't have the support of a strong federation you will have big problems.

I come from Serbia and I had no help. Now I obviously have influence and power and I want to use it to improve the conditions of others." The tennis player continues and uses a very critical tone: "We usually talk about tennis players who participated in the US Open and earned a lot, but it isn't visible to others.

There are many tennis players who cannot make a living from tennis: men's, women's or doubles. Only 400 tennis players among these competitions manage to make a living from tennis, all the rest do not. This is a very low figure for a global sport like ours.

It represents a real failure for the world of tennis." Djokovic's words show a certain empathy from the Serbian towards his colleagues and many appreciate and discuss this situation. Ons Jabeur, involved in the PTPA projects, underlined: "Before nobody paid attention to me, now I'm in the Top ten and everyone listens to what they say. If you think about it I think this is not good at all."
