PSG has chosen Donnarumma, Keylor Navas will go away!

Gianluigi Donnarumma will remain at PSG as first goalkeeper, Keylor Navas will say goodbye to Paris. According to what reported by L'Equipe, the French club would have chosen the Italian goalkeeper as the only number one.

Donnarumma said to L'Equipe: "There shouldn't be an alternation next year between me Keylor Navas, The club has to make choices." On 14 July 2021 Donnarumma is hired by PSG. He made his debut with the Parisians and at the same time in Ligue 1 the following 11 September, in the home victory against Clermont Foot (4-0), while on the 28 of the same month he made his debut in the UEFA Champions League, in the group stage match won 2-0 against Manchester City at the Parco dei Principi, however, the experience across the Alps begins with an uphill battle for the Italian goalkeeper, unable to immediately undermine the ownership of Keylor Navas in the eyes of coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Considered one of the greatest talents of his generation, he is an agile goalkeeper despite his considerable stature, gifted with good reflexes and also skilled with his feet. Confident in the exits, both high and low, as well as in directing the defense, he is also used to parrying penalties, both in matches and even more in the lotteries after extra time.

Due to his rapid maturation, which brought him to the national limelight at the age of just over 16, he was compared by various insiders to the already established Gianluigi Buffon, who in his time was also able to forge ahead.

Not yet of age, in 2015 he made his debut first in the Italy Under-21 and then in 2016 in the senior national team, quickly becoming the owner. With the clubs he was included in the AIC team of the year in 2020 and voted by the Lega Serie A as the best goalkeeper of the 2020-2021 season, while with the national team he was named best player of the 2020 European championship and included in the XI All Star Team of the same edition.
