AC Milan enters the summer of 2022 with a bigger budget

That better days have arrived at the San Siro is clear this season - it was opened with the goal of Milan securing a place in the group stage of the Champions League for the second year in a row, and expectations have already been far exceeded.

No one doubts the placement in the elite European competition anymore, but there is talk about the position in the fight for the title that currently belongs to the Rossoneri. Whether Milan won the title or not, the club's top plan is for the current season not to be an exception and a flash, before returning to the average that the seven-time champion of the Old Continent has represented in the last, almost ten years.

That is why the Elliott Investment Fund, which owns the famous club, has prepared 100,000,000 euros for the summer sector for the sports sector. That is enough for Milan's main targets, and their first wishes are Lille duo: Renato Sanchez and Sven Botman, as well as Noa Lang from Club Brugge.

However, at the beginning of the summer transfer window, the Rossoneri could get a significant financial injection through the sales of football players who are currently on loan. It is realistic that 21,000,000 euros will be poured into the club's coffers, and the biggest part of that money should be brought by Jens Petter Hauge, a Norwegian who is currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Eagles are ready to buy him for the agreed 12,000,000, and Milan would make good money there, having in mind that in October 2020, they brought him in for 4,500,000.

Money from transfers

The new 5,500,000 in the announcement will come from the sale of Leo Duarte, who went to Basaksehir a year and a half ago and influenced the Istanbul club with quality games before the end of the two-and-a-half-year loan to want to buy his contract.

Unlike Hauge, he is a player on whom Milan will lose money, bearing in mind that they paid Flamengo 10,500,000 in 2019, but part of the money will still be returned. One of the biggest failures in the history of Milan, Mattia Caldara, is on loan.

Three and a half years ago, he was paid almost 37,000,000 euros to Juventus, he will bring the Rossoneri, at best 4,000,000 ... And that if Venice, for which he currently plays, survives in Serie A. The chances of that happening exist, but they are not bright because is a club from the city on the water positioned in the relegation zone, in 18th place.

That would be the case when it comes to loans, although Milan is counting on 3,000,000 euros from Matteo Pesina in the near future. They are waiting for the young midfielder to make 100 appearances for the Goddess, because then the mentioned clause will be activated.

He currently has 89 games in the team jersey from Bergamo, and by the end of the season, Atalanta has exactly 11 games left. There will be more if they eliminate Red Bull Leipzig in the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

Although in the case of Pesina, the Rossoneri were not famous because they gave a player who is worth at least 20,000,000 euros today, in 2017, for nothing, for 1,780,000.
