Barça appropriates Adama Traore in the summer and saves 30,000,000 euros

Barcelona's sports agenda has been imbued with the word "savings" since last summer. Many football players agreed to reduce their salaries, the club ransacked the salary chains of Philippe Coutinho, and last January, it brought three football players without compensation and Ferran Torres for 55,000,000 euros.

Barça managed to pay for him to Manchester City in four equal annual installments, the first of which would be only in the summer of 2022, the last in 2025, and bonus clauses are difficult to achieve. The club has been thinking about every dinar for the past few months, which can be seen in the case of Adama Traore.

The Spaniard came home on a loan from Wolverhampton with the option to be bought for 30,000,000 euros, but Barcelona found a way to keep him for the summer, sign a four-year contract with him, and do not pay a single cent.

Namely, Catalan Sport claims that Barcelona and Wolverhampton have agreed on a swap deal within which Adama will stay at Camp Nou, and previously loaned Francisco Trincao to Wolves. The whole story was mediated by superagent Jorge Mendes, who is finishing almost all the work related to the arrivals and departures of the Wolves players.

Trincao and Adama Traore

Trincao's loan was agreed with a similar clause as Traore's, and as the Wolves are satisfied with the Portuguese (although he did not score or assist this season), Adama was great in the first match against Atletico Madrid, there was no brake.

"Barcelona is my home and I wanted to return. I had the full support of the family I always consult with before making big decisions. The club called me and informed me about the possibility of returning, and I made a quick decision," Traore said Trincao once cost Barca 21,000,000 euros, which was paid into the account of Braga, to which they also sent Abel Ruiz, a striker who was then estimated at 9,000,000 euros.

In the summer of 2015, Barcelona earned 10,000,000 euros from the sale of Adam Traore to Aston Villa, and three years later, Wolverhampton bought him from Middlesbrough for 20,000,000. Barça are already satisfied with Adama, but not exclusively because of the performance against Atletico.

They were amazed by the attitude, as well as the professionalism which is at a high level. The Spaniard brought ambition and positivity to the locker room. He easily fit into the club in whose junior categories he played from 2004 to 2013, and in the next two, he was a member of the senior B team.
