PSG want revenge on Real Madrid with the help of Vinicius Jr.

Time is running relentlessly, January is approaching, and the management of Paris Saint-Germain is not making any progress in the negotiations regarding the extension of the contract with Kylian Mbappe. And he is slowly coming to terms with the fact that the French striker will lend a hand to Real Madrid for the winter.

The Parisians are angry, the Royal Club have damaged their reputation by kidnapping one of the biggest stars, and because of that they intend to take revenge on Madridians the same way, according to the principle "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth"

Namely, as the Spanish ABC writes, the Parisian club is slowly focused on Vinicius Jr. But it's not the first time. The Brazilian wing was targeted by Paris Saint-Germain four years ago, when he arranged to come to the Santiago Bernabeu - he arrived a year later - and PSG tried with all possible measures s to get Vinicius into the business, but - without success.

Because, for the president of Real, Florentino Perez, Vinicius is untouchable, and the Brazilian additionally strengthened such a status for the parties at the start of the current season.

Good season

They have been waiting for him in Madrid for a long time, he has shown almost nothing in the previous three years, but this season he finally exploded in tandem with Karim Benzema.

Counting all the competitions, Vinicius scored 10 in 18 games and scored eight more goals, and is one of the key figures of the Royal Club. However, he was not paid that much. According to his six-year contract signed in the summer of 2018, Vini receives just under 3,500,000 euros, but that could change soon, because according to the mentioned source, Real plans to offer him an extension for another three years, until July 2027, with a salary increase to about 8,000,000 euros.

And here in Paris Saint-Germain, they see a chance. Paris club president Naser Al Khelaifi is willing to offer Vinicius a six-year contract worth 17,000,000 euros per season - a total of 102,000,000 euros - just to persuade him to refuse to extend his contract with Real Madrid and bring him on the same principle as he lost Mbappe - as a free agent.

He would have to wait for something like that until the summer of 2024 when the 21-year-old football player's contract expires. Still, revenge is best served when it’s cold. Vinicius has so far sworn to love Real Madrid, saying that he "still wants to play in Madrid for a long time", but it remains to be seen whether the call of Qatari money will make him change his mind.
