According to french newspaper L'Equipe, Leonel Messi at PSG is an official deal. The understanding between the player and the club has been reached. The Argentine's plane landed at the Parisian airport of Le Bourget. Immediately after Messi began medical examinations and signed the contract for two years plus the option for a third.

Tomorrow, at the Parc des Princes in Paris, there will be the presentation of the star former Barcelona.

Lionel Messi's career

In his career he has won ten Spanish championships (2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019), seven King's Cups (2009, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2021), eight Spanish Super Cups (2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016 and 2018), four UEFA Champions League (2006, 2009, 2011 and 2015), three UEFA Super Cups (2009, 2011 and 2015) and three Club World Cups (2009, 2011 and 2015); the 35 trophies he won make him the most decorated footballer in the history of Barcelona, the club for which he also holds the record for appearances.

In addition to this, he is the best scorer ever for the Catalan club and the Spanish Liga, as well as the best assistman in La Liga (192 assists) and Copa América (17) and the record holder for both top scorer in a single European championship season (50 goals in 2011-2012) and best assist in a single season (21 assists in 2019-2020).

With the Argentine national team, in which he has played since 2005 and of which he is a record holder of both appearances and goals, he participated in four editions of the world championship (2006, 2010, 2014 - ranking second - and 2018) and six of the Copa América (2007, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2021), winning the 2021 edition and reaching the title of vice-champion of South America in 3 editions (2007, 2015 and 2016).

Moreover, thanks to the goal scored against Serbia and Montenegro at the 2006 World Cup, at the age of 18 years and 357 days, he holds the record for the youngest Argentine scorer in a world championship. On an individual level, he won the Ballon d'Or in 2009 (together with the FIFA World Player of the Year) and in 2019, and won the FIFA Ballon d'Or four times, an all-time record: in 2010, 2011, 2012 and in 2015.

In 2011 and 2015, UEFA awarded him the recognition as Men's Player of the Year. In 2013, however, he was included in the best football team of all time drawn up by the English magazine World Soccer. Best player of the 2005 Under-20 World Championship, winner of numerous accessory awards, from 2007 to today he has always been part of the FIFA FIFPro World XI, has been included twelve times in the ESM team of the year, while UEFA l 'has selected on 12 occasions in the team of the year.
