Barcelona and Atletico Madrid want to make a swap deal

Lionel Messi has agreed to stay at the club and the Catalan media have already declared the news as the first "title" of Joan Laporta in the presidency. However, the agreement with the Argentine is only part of the job, because first in the club budget, space should be made for Messi's salary (regardless of the 50 percent reduction), and it is already crystal clear that Antoine Griezmann will be sacrificed because of Leo.

The media in the Pyrenees have been announcing a swap deal for days: Griezmann for Saul Niguez, who is no longer such an important player in the rotation of Atletico coach Diego Simeone. He has a much lower salary than Griezmann's 20,000,000 euros, which is the main motive of Barcelona to enter into such negotiations, although it is quite clear that they will not return the investment again, considering that they gave 120,000,000 euros for the Frenchman.

Lodi and Hermoso

Saul is certainly not worth that much, not even close, although Barcelona still hopes that Atletico will add 15,000,000 to 20,000,000 euros to it. And they hope that the Quilters could add another player to the combination.

Radio Catalonia is specific: either Maria Hermoso or Renan Lodi since Blaugrana has no alternative to Jordi Alba. Although Hermoso is primarily a defender, he can also play on the left-back. Lodi is a less realistic option because in that case, Madrid would be left without a starting left-back, and they would hardly accept getting an older Alba in exchange for the Brazilian.

Although Saul is not an ideal solution for Barca, he would solve a big problem with Griezmann's salary, and it is expected that Miralem Pjanić will leave Camp Nou. Martin Braithwaite is also at the exit door, the Catalans hope to get 15,000,000 euros on him since there are interests from the Premier League, specifically West Ham, Brighton, and Norwich.

We recall that Griezmann for Saul Niguez, who is no longer such an important player in the rotation of Atletico coach Diego Simeone. Saul and Griezmann are at the center of everything, though. And they both want to. And so do the clubs.

Atletico did not forget that Griezmann scored 32 league goals for the Quilters in the best season, and 21 in the last, the worst, as much as Luis Suarez in the previous cycle of the competition. Just to find a formula that will satisfy all parties.

And let no one be lazy. Just to find a formula that will satisfy all parties. And let no one be lazy.
