Mourinho wants to see Van de Beek in Roma

At the Dream Theater, Donny van de Beek did not fulfill his dreams. When he moved from Ajax to Manchester United, he had no idea what awaited him at Old Trafford, because if he had, he would have chosen a different club. The Dutch midfielder fell into the disfavor of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Jose Mourinho could offer him a helping hand.

The list exists, and there are all the names of Manchester United players. A few days ago, information appeared that Jose Mourinho wanted to bring Nemanja Matić and David de Gea to Roma, now Donnie van de Beek is also interesting to him, and Juan Mata could also go to Roma, whose contract with the Red Devils expires.

When you add to all that that the Roma jersey is worn by Chris Smalling and Henrik Mkhitaryan, it is obvious that the Special One would make Roma a small Manchester United. With the exception of Donnie van de Beek, the Portuguese cooperated with all the mentioned players at Manchester United, and it will not be a big surprise if their paths cross again.

Van de Beek

Donnie van de Beek collected 33 games this season, but every chance he got was in the last minutes of the game, especially in the Premier League and Europa League. The Dutchman was pushed into the background from the very beginning, probably undeservedly.

Van de Beek and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not find a common language, the former Ajax player remained in the shadow of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba. He is intended to heat the bench and play the role of a reservist, which is certainly not something he expected when he decided to sign for the English great.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not go anywhere, and the position of the 'ten' will be reserved for Bruno Fernandes next year as well, there is no doubt about that. There will be no place for the Dutchman in the starting lineup, so a (temporary) move to Rome is a solution that could satisfy all parties.

It is interesting for Mourinho that he often did such things in other clubs as well. It is probable that he had one "favorite" in each club and that this "favorite" was his first acquisition. Roma will be a difficult task for Mourinho, but it seems that the Portuguese really likes challenges and that he is ready to return Roma to where it belongs.
