The Ligurian tennis player Fabio Fognini, number 17 in the world, has never hidden his faith for the soccer club FC Internazionale Milano, a team of which he is a great fan. Consequently, Fognini often seems to have a piqued antipathy towards Juventus FC, a great rival club of Inter.
On the last day of Italian Serie A, after Juventus' 3-0 home defeat against ACF Fiorentina and the many arbitration controversies, Fognini also wanted to have his say and criticize the behavior of the Juventus vice-chairman (and former soccer star) Pavel Nedved, who left the field after yet another criticized decision by referee La Penna, much contested for his refereeing.
Through an Instagram stories Fognini made a post that certainly annoyed several fans of the Juventus club by posting the message: "Being objective and playing 10 against 12 is really hard! But Nedved who goes away for a penalty not given ...
this is good for Fiorentina to take advantage of it." Fabio ended the message with an emoticon with a silenced mouth suggesting that he preferred to avoid further comments. In short, a certainly not happy relationship between Fabio Fognini and Juventus.
Fabio Fognini's 2020 was quite particular and punctuated by the stop due to the injury, by everything that happened during the pandemic that fully slowed his return and by a return to the field that took place among many difficulties with the blue which is now working towards a great 2021.
