After facing challenges during his time with Manchester United, Jadon Sancho chose to make changes in his career and seek a different environment. Namely, this young Englishman will play for Borussia Dortmund from this year. The German club and Manchester United reached an agreement on a six-month loan. Sancho had the best days of his career in Borussia Dortmund. Many believe that the young Englishman will revive his career in the club where he attracted the biggest clubs in Europe with his performances. In an interview with the media after being officially confirmed as a new Dortmund player, Jadon expressed his happiness regarding the new chapter in his career. He emphasized that he started his career precisely in the German giant. His goal is to provide equally good performances again and remind of the player he once was.

‘It’s so nice to be back.

Dortmund is like a home to me. This is where my career as a professional footballer started. That was always my dream. I’m happy to be back here again.

Of course [I am raring to go]. I want to get started! I think my team-mates will make it easy for me to get started here.'- Sancho said, as quoted by METRO

Many players with whom he had the opportunity to play in Dortmund are still part of the club. The goal in the coming period is to show that he is still a great player, but also to help the team to return to winning ways. The fans of this club could not hide their excitement at the arrival of Jadon, considering his great performances in the past.

‘I still know some of the players. And they’ll feel just like me. They really want to get going too.

[The plan is] to start winning matches, scoring goals and setting up goals. I can hardly wait.’

It seems that Sancho did not have many dilemmas about whether to join this club. The fans of this club were looking for his arrival and showed excitement about the potential arrival of Sancho. In addition, the leaders of this club, as well as the players, were key in Sancho coming to Dortmund.

'It’s down to how I’ve been received by the fans here. Then the discussions with Edin Terzic, Sebastian Kehl, Hans-Joachim Watzke, Marco Reus and other players. All of that has ensured that it now feels like the right decision.’

Manchester United fans believe that this is a great chance for Sancho and Manchester United to go in a completely different direction. Namely, many hope that this young Englishman could excel again in Dortmund and return to United and help the club achieve its goals. The former players of this club reacted to the departure of Sancho. Reactions were mixed. Louis Saha is one of those who reacted to the departure of Jadon.

Louis Saha reacts to Jadon Sancho's decision

Louis Saha talked about the difficulties in player transfers, emphasizing the need for individuals with the right energy and attitude. He expressed his wish to suggest names for Manchester United in the January transfer window but mentioned that merely adding one or two players is not enough for the team to compete with the top teams.  Judging by the reactions of the fans and players of this club, United needs a reconstruction of the entire team. Individuals within the team are not at satisfactory level. However, looking at the statements of Erik ten Hag, it is difficult to expect that the team from Old Trafford will invest huge money this winter. The main focus is to wait for the return of key players and hope for changes during the season.

Saha talked about the challenges in the current market and suggested that the players at Manchester United should be expected to take responsibility for bringing about positive changes, although he expressed doubt about this happening.

Louis Saha expressed hope for players recovering from injuries, wishing they return in better shape. He specifically mentioned Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez, stating that their comeback would feel like adding new players to the team. Saha put an accent more on excitement about seeing these players return than the potential arrival of new team members. There is already excitement about the return of individuals.

These two players were key for Manchester United in the previous season. Their return could have a huge impact on United and turn the season around. We will see how much the two of them will affect the entire team. Erik ten Hag hopes that the team will be able to return to winning ways and secure the TOP 4. In addition, the club has ambitions to win the FA Cup.
