Jose Mourinho doesn't think Arsenal has a big shot at winning the title this season. He still sees Manchester City as the top dogs to win the title again.  Although the London club is at the top of the table, the Portuguese expert is not optimistic that Mikel Arteta's team can lift the Premier League trophy. The Obi One Podcast was an opportunity for Mourinho to reveal who he thinks will win the Premier League.

'Man City 51 [per cent] and Liverpool 49.’- Mourinho said, as quoted by METRO!

Although the host, John Obi-Mikel, laughed and believed that Mourinho makes such statements because of the former rivalry, the Portuguese confirmed that this is not the case.

‘Honestly, rivalry apart because I can do it, I would like them to win, I would like a third [team in the title race].

Of course Chelsea is not going to win it, that’s out of the question, so I don’t think about Chelsea.'

Jose Mourinho explains his view

Mourinho is aware that the teams he once had the chance to lead, Chelsea and Manchester United, have no chance of winning the title. Although Mourinho respects Arsenal and would like to see them in the title race, he believes that in the end, the race will be between City and Liverpool. The fact that City has a wide bench could influence them to become champions again.

‘Of course Manchester United is not going to win it, I don’t speak about Man United too, so it’s going to be these three and out of these three I would be happy for Arsenal to do it.

I would be really happy to [see them] break a little bit that thing, but I think it’s 51-49 [between City and Liverpool].

And I say 51-49 because when the accumulation of matches are coming, Man City has two teams!’
