There's a lot of talk about Erik ten Hag possibly losing his job after the upcoming match against Liverpool. Tomorrow, Manchester United has a big game against their top rival! With Manchester United not doing well lately, it's tough for many to feel positive. During a press conference before the match, reporters asked Erik ten Hag if he knows that if they lose, Liverpool will be 13 points ahead. He doesn't seem to want to think too much about it.

“I feel that. They tell me. That's fine and that is OK. I am focusing on the process, I am focusing on making this team play better and making the individuals play better. That is my concern and what I am focusing on. Now we are inconsistent and I have to work on making a squad that is going to play for longer periods at a higher level.”- Erik ten Hag said, as quoted by eurosport.com!

Erik ten Hag: You know it is going to be tough

Playing at Anfield in one of the biggest derbies is a big deal for any player. Manchester United did not go well the last time they played at Anfield, as United lost even 7-0! Erik ten Hag believes that his team had a chance to learn a lot from that defeat. This will be an opportunity for them to fix things and try to win the place they lead in the Champions League. United's players must show character if they want to achieve a positive result.

“I think everyone is highly motivated when you go to Anfield. You know it is going to be tough. That is everything a top footballer wants; they want the challenge. You have to look forward. We take last year in our memory, but you have to take the benefit from it and learn from it. On Sunday we can prove that.”- Erik ten Hag said.
