Manchester United had big problems in the match with Copenhagen, especially in the first half. However, Erik ten Hag's team showed in the second half that they are a much better team. The entry of Christian Eriksen from the bench is considered by many to be the key moment in the match.

The Dane played a great match, had a great vision, and impressed everyone. United legend Paul Scholes was furious with United's first-half performance. Paul emphasized that Eriksen has changed a lot in the club's game. ‘It felt like we were watching a Europa League game in the first half.

Like a Thursday night. Poor,’ said Scholes. ‘Second half was a lot better but you bring the better footballers on. You bring Christian Eriksen on, a much better footballer. No disrespect to Amrabat, he’s a stopper he’ll do his kind of thing.

But he won’t build up play.'

Christian Eriksen and his style

Eriksen is known as a player who knows how to 'find players' and send great balls. And this time it was the same. It was noticeable that individuals played much better when Eriksen was on the field.

His creativity is special. ‘Christian Eriksen will. You saw the runs being made, all of sudden Fernandes is in the game, Garnacho too. Eriksen will find these players. For a 15-20 minute spell they looked like a proper team again.’ Ten Hag was also delighted with Eriksen's performance.

If the Dane did not play, it would be difficult for United to break the Copenhagen's defense. Christian showed that despite everything he has experienced in his career, he is still a great player and has a lot to offer. Erik ten Hag must give him more chances and show him trust.

‘Christian is always positive. He brings football and we did not have the football in the first-half – Copenhagen are well organised and you have to break them. Christian Eriksen makes the right passes.’
