Cristiano Ronaldo's new record

Cristiano Ronaldo is the first player to score at least 50 goals in the Italian Serie A (with Juventus FC), in Spanish La Liga (with Real Madrid CF) and in the English Premier League (with Manchester United). Different shirts, like roles.

Because Ronaldo's greatness was to be able to reinvent himself in a new position and to be more decisive than before. CR7 started off as an attack with Sporting Lisbon, continued there with United and on YouTube you can still see his Premier League debut against Bolton in 2003.

Another Ronaldo. Sole, dribbling, cross games. He played on the wing, confined on a track. He loved to point the man, jump him and go to the bottom, always. Walter Smith, Ferguson's assistant, changed his style with special rules, told of the ex Red Devil Darren Fletcher: "Cristiano kept too much ball, he was selfish, so in the match they decided to eliminate the fouls.

After many blows, CR7 started to pass the ball." Real Madrid, on the other hand, made it a true striker: 450 goals in 438 games. Less band, more in the penalty area. And more than the position, however tied to the center-left, the style of play has changed.

Gary Neville summarized the metamorphosis in the best way: "Ronaldo doesn't have to run 11 or 12 kilometers per game anymore, but he only needs 7-8." With Juventus he returned to his origins, moved to the left, but always prolific.

Last milestone reached. Ronaldo is the player who scored the 50th goal in Serie A with the least number of appearances (61). Arriving at Juve in 2018, it took him only two years to reach the round figure, beating the top scorers of Serie A.

Some comparisons: Andry Shevaìchenko took 68 games, Ronaldo Luis Nazario from Lima 70, David Trezeguet and Diego Milito 78. All at the time, they were younger than CR7. Hunger.

Manchester City 'dribbles' UEFA disqualification!

Manchester City will be able to play in the UEFA Champions League in the next two years. UEFA, through a provision of the Financial Control Chamber, had in fact excluded the English club for the next two editions of the European cups for repeated and serious violations of the Financial Fair Play, but the Citizens managed by Josep Guardiola had immediately resorted to the CAS in Lausanne.

CAS expressed itself reversing the sentence for lack of clear evidence on the violations. The provision for exclusion from the cups was therefore inappropriate. Readmission then to European cups and fine reduced from 30 to 10 million euros.

UEFA, with an official note published on its website, confirms that: "It takes note and will not send further comments on this procedure." Manchester City reached the second place in the English Premier Division, tournament won by Liverpool FC, 30 years after last time.

City will have to play the return match of the best-16 of the UEFA Champions League 2020. In teh First match players managed by Pep Guardiola won 2-1 against Real Madrid CF, at the Santiago bernabeu Stadium, in Madrid.
