The remaining eight matches of the second round of the Soccer Champions League were played last night. There were a lot of interesting matches and results with a handful of goals. Manchester City defeated Leipzig 3:1 away from home in the second round of the Champions League, even though they played in a combined team.

City entered this game as slight favorites, but it was not as easy for the popular Citizens as some might have expected. There were a lot of changes, Pep Guardiola could not count on some of his best players, so he had to give opportunities to substitutes as well as young players.

18-year-old Rico Luis, among others, got the opportunity from the first minute. He played in the middle of the field together with Rodri, he ran all the time, fought for the ball and with his game he delighted Pep Guardiola.

"What a player. Amazing, extraordinary. He is 18 years old, and he can play in four or five positions, he is not afraid, he is great in defense. I've been a coach for 15 years, I've coached incredible players, but this is the best I've worked with," Guardiola complimented.

Sure that Pep is also satisfied because he will be able to count on this young and fast soccer player in the future.

A very bright future and career are ahead of this young player from Manchester, surely he will progress with Pep

Guardiola has a very long career in soccer, first as a soccer player and now as a coach.

He turned many unknown names into world-class players and big stars. Many praised this Spanish expert for having a nose for talent and knowing how to find the right player for the right position. It certainly impresses the young Luis because his coach praised him like that, but we have to be realistic that the young man deserved it, if nothing else for his great sacrifice on the field and his desire to prove himself. Luis was born in Manchester and grew up in City's youth academy. He will turn 19 in November.
