By coming to Inter Miami, Leo Messi caused quite a boom. Messi's greatness amazes the fans of this club. After leaving PSG two months ago, Messi joined Inter as a free agent, and has been playing well since arriving at the club from Miami.

With Messi leading the way, Inter recently won its first trophy in history, and in all likelihood this club will win the title of American champion in the near future. It is well known to MLS fans what Miami was like before Leo Messi arrived.

Inter's marketing earnings increased significantly after Messi arrived in the USA, increasing football's popularity in the country. In addition to this, all teams in MLS are trying to make money with Messi's arrival and are succeeding.

As a result, it appears all the conditions have been met, just for Messi to come to MLS, including the strict rule that applies to all players.

Messi and rules

The rules stipulate that after matches, all players must be available for interviews with the media, and as a general rule, if one is asked to speak, they cannot refuse, since otherwise they face a fine.

Since joining Inter, Messi has never made a post-match press conference at the mix zone, despite being asked every time. There was confusion as to how Messi avoided the statements, but an explanation was provided shortly afterward.

The American media claims Messi is not required to make a statement and to follow those strict rules because he has an agreement with MLS. Due to his limited knowledge of English, Messi does not want to make any statements.

MLS came to meet him and set a precedent because the best player of all time wants to avoid making statements, and they respect that. Supposedly, Messi promised that this would change once he learned English better, because in English statements must be made, resulting in this problem.
