The Paris Saint-Germain club activated a release clause for Ousmane Dembele earlier this month, and the player was transferred from Barcelona, where he spent the last six years, to PSG for 50 million euros. It was supposed that Barcelona would receive 25 million euros after the Frenchman's transfer to PSG, Ousmane Dembele 15 million euros, and Ousmane Dembele's agent ten million euros, however Barcelona does not want to give that amount to the manager, and the case is in court.

Xavi Hernandez has clearly suffered a blow as one of his best players has left the club, but the Spanish coach is not whining, but is looking for the best possible solution to the loss. In response to this, the news appeared in the Spanish media that the Blaugrana's head of coaching staff was attempting to find a replacement for the Frenchman, and they were targeting German offensive player Leroy Sane as a possible replacement.

According to the June edition of the paper, Sane was listed on the transfer list as well as some other footballers, but to this day he hasn't left the Allianz Arena, and he scored the first goal in the German Bundesliga this season, thanks to an assist from Kane.

Leroy Sane and Bayern Munich

According to what we know right now, Sane will not be leaving Bavaria this summer even if he wants to. A different plan has been proposed by the leaders of Barcelona themselves, and they hope to bring him only in the summer of 2024.

According to Barcelona, the German offensive player has a contract with Bayern Munich until 2025, so the club believes that they could bring him over next summer for a lot less money than what they are currently paying. Having left Manchester City in the summer of 2020, Leroy Sane joined Bayern Munich as the team's new winger.

As a Bayern Munich player, he scored 40 goals and contributed 37 assists in 135 matches in which he played for the team.
