Transfers in football aren't just limited to clubs. Sometimes, players swap allegiances to brands as well. Harry Kane, fresh from his high-profile 100-million-euro move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich, has sprung another surprise on fans.

This time, it's a shift in his footwear.

Kane's Big Leap in Boots

Just days after announcing his move to Bayern, Kane unveiled another change: he's lacing up with a different brand of boots. Kane has parted ways with sports giant Nike and joined forces with newcomer "Skechers Football." The move has turned heads and generated buzz in the footballing community.

“It’s definitely a time of transition in my career and I’m thrilled to announce my signing with Skechers just as I’m making a big move,” Kane expressed. He's poised to debut the full version of the SKX_01 boot this Friday. “Ever since meeting the design team and seeing the boots for the first time, I felt confident that Skechers was onto something special.

I’ve been wearing the boots for weeks, scoring in them in preseason. They’re unlike anything I’ve experienced before”.

Skechers' Grand Entry into Football

As Kane moves ahead in his career with a new club and new shoes, Skechers is making its bold entry into the football boot sector.

The SKX_01 collection, a promising start to their journey, is slated for release in early September. Skechers' president, Michael Greenberg, conveyed the company's excitement in collaborating with Kane and their vision for the sport.

“Harry had the entire football world following his every move over the last few weeks and his determination, skill, and leadership align perfectly with our plans for the sport,” Greenberg shared. He added, “He already feels like part of the Skechers family.

This first boot is just the beginning with more innovative Skechers football boots featuring our signature comfort and performance technologies on the way”. While the football fraternity eagerly awaits the performance of Skechers' new range on the field, Kane's immediate focus will be on the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich is all set to kick off their new season as they face Werder Bremen tonight.
