James Maddison signed for Tottenham Spurs!

Tottenham has confirmed that James Maddison is the newest member of the club, which they announced on their official profiles on social media. A contract has been agreed with this great offensive player with the club that will last until 2028, and the transfer value of this player is 46.3 million euros, which is a very attractive figure.

In August 2014, Maddison began his career at Coventry City with the aim of turning his career around. Two year later, he moved to Norwich City. His first season with Norwich was spent on loan at Aberdeen in Scotland, and the following season he became a key member of the Norwich team.

During this season, he made 49 appearances across all competitions, scoring 15 goals for the club as he finished the season as the club's top scorer. Due to James' excellent performances during the 2017/18 season, he was rewarded with a number of individual accolades, including the Championship Young Player of the Year for January 2018 and the Championship Player of the Month for September 2017 and January 2018.

His achievements include being nominated for the best young player of the season as well as being included in the team of the season as well.

Norwich City and Leicester City

After leaving Norwich City in July 2018, he joined Leicester City.

In a season in which he made 38 appearances, he scored 14 goals and received the award for Leicester City's best player that year for his efforts. The 29-year-old made 203 appearances during his five-year tenure with Leicester City, scoring 55 goals during his time there, and lifting the FA Cup trophy with them in 2021 as well.

Leicester won 0-1 vs Chelsea. The signing of Maddison is going to be a huge boost for Tottenham, given that they lacked a player of Maddison's creative nature. Considering that English teams are active on the market like never before in the next season, it is going to be especially exciting.
