West Ham will play against Liverpool without Michael Antonio

West Ham survived that hellish series of games much better than expected. Wolverhampton were defeated at home and Leicester away, points were lost to Tottenham and Manchester City and the only defeat was suffered by the Hammers from Everton.

However, the day before practically the most difficult match in a row, on the visit to Liverpool, West Ham received the worst possible news - Michael Antonio cannot play for the next month and a half due to injury! Hammer's top scorer limped off the field in the match against Manchester City last Saturday, and subsequent medical and specialist examinations indicated that Antonio's back lobe is injured and he could be on the field again only in mid-December!

Antonio is by far the best player of West Ham not only this season, but in the whole 2020. He was the scorer against Manchester City, he knocked down Leicester, he scored three goals this season, and this year he scored as many as twelve goals, and in that respect he is one of the best goal scorers in the Premier League!

Which just shows what a problem West Ham is ...

Sebastian Haller

David Moyes received the news in shock, as he pointed out several times that he did not think that the injury of his center forward was so severe. Now, West Ham must rely on the goal-scoring ability of Sebastian Haller, who, since arriving in East London more than a year ago from Eintracht for 50,000,000 euros, is just beginning to fit into the club's system.

This season, he scored one goal in the Premier League and four more in the League Cup, with the fact that he collected only 50 minutes in the English Championship, spread over five games ... That is why there is a story in the English public that David Moyes will try with Jarod Bowen or Benrahma as a "false nine"

Right now Sebastian Haller has a chance to show how good a player he is and how much he is capable of doing on the field. He will try to justify the money West Ham invested in him when he came from Frankfurt as a big name.

West Ham are playing great in the Premiership for now and they have a chance to show that this is not a coincidence. Moyes will have to motivate the players and instruct them on the importance of the match, although they themselves are aware of what awaits them and how important the match is.

Liverpool are not as good as previous seasons and West Ham could take advantage of that. If they play like the previous games, it will not be easy for Liverpool
