Manchester United managed to win vs Reading in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Erik ten Hag's team won 3-1 and looked great on the field. One of the players who isn't playing as expected is the Brazilian Antony. The fans are not happy with him.
Erik ten Hag wants more from this player. "I think he is strong,” Ten Hag told ITV “We want him also to be more dynamic, more variable and more direct. And you see today it was a lovely pass on the first goal and it was a good Brazilian combination [with] Antony and Casemiro.
So we are happy with his improvement in this moment but I feel there is more to come and I think he’s capable of it. There is big potential in him and he has to develop it every day”.

Reading showed they are a serious team.
Manchester United failed to find a solution for their defense in the first half. However, the second half was an indication of the difference in quality. Erik ten Hag did not forget to praise the opposing team. “They made it difficult, they are a decent team,” Ten Hag said.
“They were compact but we still made a lot of chances. We scored and were unlucky as it was disallowed but then in the second half we scored the goals, great goals, the Brazilian connection." Before the match with Reading, the Dutchman confirmed that Manchester United is looking for reinforcements until the end of the transfer window.
However, he is not the one who decides everything. "In the coming days, should we have an opportunity, I would go for it but it's not only up to me. I think that always has to be the approach at this club. Every day you have to get better so if there are opportunities to get better then you have to strike, that's my approach. I'm looking, doing research, I have an idea and have profiles to strengthen the squad."
