Manuel Neuer, Bayern Munich goalkeeper, said he underwent three surgeries to fight skin cancer. The German launched a product line together with tennis player Angelique Kerber. Neuer said: “We both have a very personal story when it comes to skin diseases.

Angelique has sun-induced hyperpigmentation, while in my case it is skin cancer that I have had to operate three times already. That's why we paid for it. particular attention not to compromise when it comes to sun protection: because I always train outdoors and I also like to spend my free time in nature."

Considered one of the best goalkeepers of all time, with the clubs he won ten consecutive German championships (from 2012-13 to 2021-22), six German Cups (2010-11, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2015-16 , 2018-19 and 2019-20), one German League Cup (2005), six German Super Cups (2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021), two UEFA Champions League (2012-13 and 2019-20) , two UEFA Super Cups (2013 and 2020) and two FIFA Club World Cups (2013 and 2020).

With the German national team he participated in three World Championships (2010, 2014 and 2018) and three European Championships (2012, 2016 and 2020), winning the World Cup in 2014. With the Under-21 national team he won a European category in 2009.

On an individual level he has been elected 5 times best goalkeeper of the year IFFHS, four times in a row (from 2013 to 2016) and once in 2020, to his credit also two second places, obtained in 2011 and 2017. In 2014 he was ranked third behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the FIFA Ballon d'Or ranking.

In the same year he won the World Cup Gold Glove. In 2020 he was awarded the Champions League best goalkeeper of the year and FIFA's best goalkeeper of the year. He was inducted four times in the FIFA Team of the Year (2013 to 2016), three times in the UEFA Team of the Year (2013 to 2015) and in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season (2013-14, 2015-16 and 2019-20) and once each in the ideal team of the European Championship (2012) and in that of the World Championship (2014).
