In 2020 he moved to Borussia Dortmund, with whom he won a German Cup in 2020-2021 and established himself as one of the youngest and at the same time prolific forwards in circulation. On an individual level he won the German League Player of the Year award in 2020-21 and the Uefa Champions League top scorer title in 2020-21, as well as being included in the UEFA Champions League team of the season in 2020-2021.
Haaland is a striker with good technique, speed and physical strength. He has a good nose for goal, is left-footed, and his 194 cm allows him to be a good header. The power of his shots makes them insidious and in addition he is also good at entering the spaces left by the opposing defenses.
He also knows how to distinguish himself as a finisher because of his good vision of the game.
Erling Halaand's father gives incredible news about his son's future
Haaland's dad, Alfie Haaland, talked about his son's future, with truly surprising revelations.
He told: "I think Erling wants to test his qualities in all leagues. So he could play in each league for three or four years at the most. He could spend two and a half years in Germany, two and a half years in England and then in Spain, Italy and France, right? We don't know if that will happen.
In our list we thought Manchester City was the best team. Bayern Munich was number two, Real Madrid number three, PSG number four. Other English teams , who are doing quite well, they wanted us, like Liverpool and Chelsea. Then there was Barcelona. They were all more or less on the same level for us."
