Beale, a 34-year-old Australian rugby player, was suspended after allegations of se*ual harassment by a 28-year-old woman, who denounced him for allegedly taking place in a Bondi Beach hotel in Sydney on December 17. He was part of the squad that won the 2011 Tri Nations and later finished third at the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
In the 2012 season, Beale was with the Melbourne Rebels, a team he signed with in April 2011. At the end of Super Rugby 2013 he returned to the Waratahs, with whom he won the 2014 tournament, the first for the Sydney team, which beat the New Zealand Crusaders in the final.

Born into an Aboriginal family, Beale joined the Waratahs youth academy at 16 while still in secondary school.
In January 2007 he made his senior debut in a friendly against the Brumbies, and later made his debut in the Super 14. He attended St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill, where he played in that school's first XV in all three of his senior years.
Beale was selected in the NSW and Australian Schoolboys representative rugby teams between 2004 and 2006. In 2006 Beale captained both the Joey 1st XV and the Australian Schoolboys, and attended regular training sessions with the Waratahs of NSW from the age of 15.
At 17, he attended his first Wallabies training camp, at the invitation of coach John Connolly. In August he was with the Western Sydney Rams, part of the Australian Rugby Championship, tournament which lasted only one season.
After his commitment with that team he resumed playing for the Waratahs. In November 2009 he made his international debut against Wales in Cardiff.
