Anaheim Ducks stopped the negative streak and managed to win 5:1 vs New Jersey Devils. Adam Henrique could not hide his delight after scoring his first hat trick in his NHL career.

“It’s special. This place was special for me for a long time. A lot of great memories here."- Henrique said, as quoted by NHL!

It is interesting that he just played his first season with the New Jersey Devils, after which he was traded.

“I always enjoy seeing everybody and playing in this building. It is kind of funny that the first (hat trick) was here.”

The Anaheim Ducks showed character from the start. It was clear that their coach prepared brilliantly for this match, and pointed them to the weak sides of the opposing team. They managed to use that.

“I think the guys have done a good job of working through a lot. Certainly, it is nice to get a big win.”- Henrique continued.

Coach Lindy Ruff reacts: I think the frustration is more with execution

Coach Lindy Ruff from New Jersey knows that in games, you win some and lose some, it's just how it goes. But what really bugs him is how his team plays. He's kinda frustrated with their execution. He's planning to focus on fixing that in the next while, especially 'cause they've missed out on a bunch of chances.

“I think the frustration is more with execution, with some of the plays we made. I think we were frustrated with each other when we missed opportunities. You have to be comfortable when it's an uncomfortable situation. That's all part of the game. It doesn't go your way every night. Sometimes you don't get the bounces, sometimes the puck doesn't come to you.”-New Jersey coach Lindy Ruff said!
