The Nashville Predators triumphed 6-5 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Filip Forsberg netted a goal just 35 seconds into overtime. He expressed contentment with his teammates, acknowledging that without their support, he wouldn't achieve what he does.

It was a good middle-lane drive by (Roman) Josi to create that space [so] I could cut. After that, I just tried to shoot as hard as I could.”- Forsberg said, as quoted by NHL!

Nashville coach Andrew Brunette was impressed by the performance of his team, who did not give up even a single moment. Although in some moments of the match, there was a decline, Brunette is happy with how his team looked in the end.

“I liked our overall game. I thought [in] stretches of the game we looked really good, and in stretches we sat back a little. But give [Carolina] credit. They’re such a well-coached team and well-oiled machine. They get going and they push you back.”- Andrew Brunette said.

Carolina coach Rod Brind'Amour reacts

Carolina coach Rod Brind'Amour believes that individuals were tired during the match. However, he is happy that his team fought during the match.

“We didn’t have any jump. You could tell. We were late on everything. I give the guys credit for trying. We were a little off, I think, a little fatigued. You could tell by all the rush opportunities we were giving up. That never happens."-Rod Brind’Amour said.

Stefan Noesen, the scorer of one goal, believes that his team must learn how to play with a lead.

“We had the lead pretty much the entire [game] after the first goal. We have to learn to play with the lead. We’re at Game 30 now and we’ve still got a lot of hockey left, so you just build off of it.”- Noesen said.
