The New Jersey Devils won 7-2 vs the Buffalo Sabres. Hischier was an important player for his team, as he scored a goal and had an assist. He is happy about his team's victory, which showed its character. "I wanted to come back, and I thought today was the right moment and I'm glad I came back and was able to help the team," Hischier said, as quoted by NHL.com!

He emphasized that his team must have the same intensity in every match. "When we play four lines, bring the effort, that intensity, then we play Devils hockey. We’ve got to just bring that more consistently."

Lindy Ruff on his team

New Jersey coach Lindy Ruff is happy with the performance of his team, who did not give up even for a single moment.

Having individuals on the team who can make a difference is certainly a big deal. "We came out quick, speed through the neutral zone, speed on the entries," New Jersey coach Lindy Ruff said. "When you add a player like Nico, it kind of pushes the players back in position and gave us a little bit more depth in the top couple of lines, so I liked a lot about how we came out." Tyler Toffoli scored twice.

He emphasized that his team was calm in the key moments of the match. This will be an important motive for him in the challenges that follow. He can be happy for his team. "There was no real panic within our game and we were calm and we made all those little plays that are not easy to make," Toffoli said.

"You don't always want to make them; you want to kind of make the home-run plays all the time, but I thought we made those little plays and it went a long way for us."
