This will be Kole Lind's third season with the Seattle Kraken. Lind has huge expectations for this season and expects a more important role in the sequel. He came to the training camp full of optimism and faith. "I'm excited, I'm confident," -he said, as quoted by NHL!

"Obviously, there's a bit of nervousness with it all, but I'm here to prove that I deserve to be here." Lind doesn't want to look for excuses for worse performances. He never looked for the culprit in others but in himself.

The most important thing for him is to work hard and give his best in order to reach the goal. Complaining cannot bring him anything positive, and he is well aware of that. "For me, personally, I've kind of been a guy that doesn't sulk, doesn't overthink things.

I just go wherever I go and work as hard as I can and try to get a job done. … Sitting around sulking and complaining about it definitely isn't going to help you."

Dave Hakstol reacts to Kole Lind

Seattle coach Dave Hakstol also has high expectations from Lind, given that he is aware of how much this great player can bring.

He believes that Lind is a great help to the team. "He's got an opportunity to go out and show us every day where he's at and how he can help our team be at our best when we start the regular season," Hakstol said. Hakstol follows the progress of Lind closely and believes that this year Lind will show his true quality.

"Whether they were here with us or within our organization or within another organization, we're pretty well aware of where players are coming from. [We know] what that might mean for their current performance and where they can take it in the future."
