In an unexpected turn of events, Kansas City Chiefs' enthusiasts will likely spot Donna Kelce, a familiar face in the NFL community, among the crowd at Allegiant Stadium for the Super Bowl, rather than in the exclusive suite boxes.

This season, fans have been accustomed to seeing Kelce and celebrity Taylor Swift gracing the suite boxes at various NFL games, but the Super Bowl's steep prices have prompted a change in plans. Donna Kelce, the mother of Chiefs' star Travis Kelce, shared her decision in a lighthearted conversation with "Today".

Laughing, she remarked, "Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box. I have a feeling I’m in the stands." She further noted the event's exclusivity, saying, "As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl."

Sky-High Suite Prices

The high cost of Super Bowl suites is not an exaggeration.

According to Suite Experience Group, the "Premium Loge" seats are priced between $180,000 and $300,000, with "Owner’s Club" suites starting at a staggering $1.8 million. Some reports suggest even higher figures. This sentiment is echoed by Lisa McCaffery, mother of veteran running back Christian McCaffrey.

On Olivia Culpo's podcast "Your Mom," she disclosed, "We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it. Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia." However, in a delightful turn, McCaffrey’s fiancée later surprised her with a suite for Lisa’s birthday, as revealed on social media.

The presence of Taylor Swift, a 14-time Grammy award winner, at the Super Bowl remains uncertain. Swift is currently in Japan for her "Eras Tour", with performances scheduled at the Tokyo Dome on February 10th. Given the time zone differences, it's feasible for Swift to make it in time to witness the Chiefs' attempt at securing back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

As the Super Bowl approaches, the spotlight turns to the stands, where notable NFL personalities will join fans in cheering on their teams, highlighting the event's universal appeal and the soaring costs of luxury seating.
