Rob Gronkowski had an honest but also very hilarious reaction to Tom Brady complaining that the NFL is becoming too soft. Brady, who played in the NFL for 23 seasons before retiring after the 2022 season, recently addressed the league rules that have been introduced to protect offensive players.

In his comments, Brady suggested that the NFL is doing too much in their attempts to protect offensive players. "Football is a physical sport, there's a physical element to all of this. You throw a 15-yard flag for something that, you know, 20 years ago maybe wouldn't have had a flag.

That affects the game in a big way. There's so many people that want it less and less physical, it's more like flag football, which is going to be in the Olympics in 2028. Maybe football goes to flag football over a period of time," Brady said on the latest edition of his "Let's Go" podcast.

As one of the biggest stars of the game, Brady almost always had the calls going his way during his playing days. Last year, some of the calls that were called on defenders against Brady were the least to say very questionable.

"I mean, it was already flag football for you, brother. Some of those calls for you last year, they barely touched you, especially the call with the Atlanta Falcons. They were getting a 15-yard roughing the passer penalty. All the rules go in your favor, Tom.

You're not playing anymore, that's why you're saying that," Gronkowski said during his appearance on the "Up and Adams" show. After funnily Brady that he favored from the league rules, Gronkowski revealed that he agrees that the league is becoming soft. "It's getting too soft," Gronkowski added.

Gronkowski and Brady enjoyed great success as a duo. During their time in New England, they won three Super Bowls with the Patriots. In 2020, Gronkowski and Brady also won a Super Bowl together in Tampa Bay. Gronkowski retired in 2022 June, while Brady played out the 2022 season before ending his career.
