Justin Jefferson is preaching patience and urging people to pump the brakes on all the trade buzz surrounding the Minnesota Vikings following their poor start to the 2023 season. The Vikings, who had only four regular-season losses in 2022, are 0-3 through their first three games of the 2023 season.

The Vikings have had a pretty rough start to the season and some have been wondering if the Vikings should try to move some players and get young players and draft capital in return. Jefferson, who has had 458 receiving yards and one touchdown through the first three games, believes the Vikings' season is far from over.

Jefferson: I'm tired hearing of what some have been saying

"At the end of the day it's not going to be perfect every time. There's things that you've got to go through throughout the season to really tell if you're going to be a great team or not.

We're handling adversity early in the season with the turnovers and being 0-3, but there is a whole bunch of more games to go. I'm tired of people saying that we're looking into next season or all of the trades and stuff like that.

We're focused still on this season. We have a lot more games to go and we have a lot more things to accomplish this season. We're still focused in, and we still have the same goal as we had before the season. We just need to fix a few things and I feel like we'll be back on track," Jefferson said, via ESPN.

This Sunday, the Vikings are playing the Carolina Panthers on the road. The Panthers also haven't been impressive at the start of the new season as they are also 0-3. Today, either the Vikings or the Panthers will clinch its first win of the season.

The Vikings haven't been great but Jefferson has been great statistically. It remains to be seen if Jefferson can lead the Vikings to their first win of the season against the Vikings.
