A great introduction to the new NFL season was provided by pop diva Taylor Swift who attended the Kansas game. As if she overshadowed the match itself, the entire internet and all the media reported that she was at the stadium.

Taylor Swift's trip to watch Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs play American football not only set social media ablaze over whether the two are dating, but the 12-time Grammy winner's appearance at Arrowhead Stadium led to a spike in jersey sales.

According to sports apparel and jersey company Fanatics, Kelce's jersey was one of the five best-selling jerseys in the NFL on Sunday. "There was a nearly 400 percent increase in jersey sales on websites, including NFLShop.com," a company spokesperson said in a written response to the Associated Press.

Good free marketing for the Kansas City Chiefs team, the news was among the most popular for several days not only in the USA but in the whole world. In addition to athletes, music stars and people from showbiz also have a great influence on the people.

Sales spiked the same day Swift was spotted in Kansas City watching the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears from one of the stadium boxes with Kelce's mother. Swift has always been reluctant to discuss her private life in public, but the pop star and professional soccer player have been the subject of rumors in recent months.

A real fever in the NFL league after the visit of pop diva Taylor Swift to a game of American football

In a later appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," Kelce revealed that he had invited Swift to come watch him play. In addition to jersey sales, the NFL also faced Internet "fever" over the singer's appearance at the game.

As of Tuesday, the NFL's bio on Ix, the platform formerly known as Twitter, reads "NFL (Taylor Version)" next to a photo of Swift and Donna Kelsey watching Sunday's game. Will this start an avalanche of such and similar events, because it is well known that in America the easiest way to succeed is to copy others. Many have gotten rich that way and made careers.
