Joe Bureau played a really good game, and on his wings, the Bengals defeated the Eagles. We are used to these kinds of games from Joe, but we have to admit that at the end of last season he didn't really excel. After this great game, we sincerely hope that he will continue at this pace and that we will see him as we are used to.
The Cincinnati Bengals recorded their first win in the new NFL season, while the Philadelphia Eagles reached their third in a row. The Bengals defeated the Los Angeles Rams 19:16 led by Joe Burrow. Many teams want to jump out and make a breakthrough at the beginning of the season, because later fatigue and injuries occur.
For many, this has gone exactly as they wanted. Burrow threw for 259 yards, while Joe Mixon ran for Ohio's only touchdown of the game.
Evan McPherson hit four field goals for the Bengals, the last of which was a 54-yarder for a 19-9 lead midway through the final period.
Philadelphia Eagles in great form at the beginning of the season, 3 wins in a row
In the second game on the final day of the third NFL weekend, the Eagles easily defeated the Buccaneers 25-11 in Tampa Bay. Jalen Hurts shined, throwing and running for one touchdown each, along with 277 yards and two interceptions.
Deandre Swift gained 130 yards rushing, while AJ Brown collected 130 on nine catches. The entire game is perfectly and well thought out, which is a credit to their manager. It was known who was doing what, the players were very disciplined and in the end it paid off in the best possible way.
On the other hand, Baker Mayfield threw a touchdown to Mike Evans with an interception for 146 yards, but the Bucks ran for just 41 yards to the Eagles' 201. This NFL season really promises a lot if we watch this introduction and the beginning of the season. There is quite a long period ahead of us, we hope to witness even better games in the rest of the season.
