Joe Burrow suggests the field is the best possible place to resolve the trash talk between Ja'Marr Chase, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Recently, Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Chase said "Pat who" when declaring Burrow the best quarterback in the league.

That comment drew a reaction from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Mahomes, who reminded Chase that he was already a two-time Super Bowl champion. When Chiefs tight end Kelce was asked about Chase's comments, he told the Bengals wide receiver to better back it up on the field.

In an interview with Complex Sports, Burrow was asked for his reaction. "The best thing about that is it's all settled on the field. So we'll see them in December," Burrow told Complex Sports.

Burrow on how the Bengals can make a big breakthrough

In 2021, the Bengals made the Super Bowl before suffering a 23-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

This past season, the Bengals reached the AFC Championship Game before the Chiefs edged them out with a 23-20 score in an absolute thriller. Ahead of the 2023 season, Burrow was asked what needed to change for the Bengals to win a Super Bowl.

"Nothing too different. Keep doing exactly what we're doing. I think we've put a great plan together the last couple of years, now we just have to finish it off. We have essentially the same team with, you know, a couple lost pieces, but we also added a couple pieces that I think will help us.

So just continuing to grind every day and get better and better. It sounds cliche, but that's really how you do it. You can't focus too much on the future. You just have to focus on perfecting every day and perfecting your craft every day.

Whatever you're working on, just give it your all and you know, the rest usually takes care of itself," Burrow explained.
