Davante Adams has indicated that he has certain concerns about the Las Vegas Raiders offense but added he is giving his best to trust the team's decision. In college, Adams played alongside Derek Carr and the two formed a great chemistry.

When Adams decided to join the Raiders last year, everyone knew that Carr's presence played a major part in the star wide receiver deciding to come to Las Vegas. But the Raiders had a disappointing 2022 season and Carr paid the ultimate price by getting cut after the season ended.

Adams didn't appear to be very happy when the Raiders decided to move on from Carr and this is what the star wide receiver posted after the team acquired Jimmy Garoppolo to be their new quarterback. "If we haven't talked in the last 3 weeks don't hit me about this s---.

Thanks," Adams wrote.

Adams on the Raiders' recent moves

“[The front office] think this is the best bet for us right now to put us in a position to be urgent. We don’t see eye-to-eye on what we think is best for us right now.

I’m going to have to buy into this and try to be as optimistic as possible. It’s not what I expected to happen, but it’s something that’s the reality now," Adams told The Ringer, as revealed on Pro Football Talk.

Some think that Garoppolo isn't really a big upgrade over Carr. “It all depends on the style of ball that we play. If we play a certain brand of ball, I can get [Garoppolo] to conform to whatever. But if we use him a certain type of way, then it’s going to make it tough for us to maximize who we should be this year," Adams explained.

Adams grew up a Raiders fan and he is determined to help the organization contend for the Super Bowl. “That’s why I didn’t come here to just be cute with Derek. It is to really try and have a shot and change this organization," Adams said.
