Antonio Brown has announced that he is returning to the NFL and joining the Baltimore Ravens. Brown, 34, has been out of the NFL since his stunning meltdown late in the 2021 season. Two months ago, Brown announced he was retired from the NFL.
But this Friday, Brown sent out an interesting tweet. "Excited to return to the NFL this year. #RavensFlock," Brown tweeted.

Is Brown messing around or being serious?
After what Brown did during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets game late in the 2021 regular season, no team has shown interest in signing the star wide receiver.
In 2020, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson pushed for the team to sign Brown. In the end, nothing happened as Brown decided to sign with the Buccaneers. "He's a cool, down-to-earth guy and he's passionate about the sport of football.
I feel like the locker room here is different from any other locker room. It's like a brotherhood going on. It's none of that outside noise; it's strictly inside. We worry about each other; we worry about what we have going on.
We want to win, and I can just tell in him that he wants to win. He wants to play ball," Jackson said of Brown in 2020. The Brown tweet came after the Ravens announced that they reached a new five-year deal with Jackson. After over two years of negotiating, the Ravens finally agreed on a new deal with Jackson.
"Sometimes, you just need time. Sometimes these things can happen in two weeks, and sometimes it takes two years. This was on that scale. I know that our appreciation and love for Lamar has really never wavered, but it was business as well.
Sometimes with family, things can get tough. We all feel that sometimes, when you're in a fight with your parents, or a sibling or you're trying to figure something out," Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said. It remains to be seen if Brown will indeed be Jackson's target in 2023.
