Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany trolled Eli Apple after the Kansas City Chiefs eliminated the Cincinnati Bengals from the playoffs. On Sunday, the Chiefs beat the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game 23-20 to progress into the Super Bowl.
After the Bengals beat the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round, Apple trolled them by stating: "Cancun on 3" Last year, Apple let the Chiefs hear it after the Bengals eliminated the Chiefs from the playoffs. 12 months later, the Chiefs got their revenge and Mahomes' wife made sure to give Apple some of his medicine.

Mahomes' left it all out on the field
After suffering a high-ankle sprain in the divisional round win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mahomes did his best to be ready for the Bengals game.
Even though Mahomes' movement was evidently hampered by the injury, he was still able to complete 29-of-43 passes for 326 yards and two touchdowns. With the Chiefs facing a third-and-4 in the final moments of the game, Mahomes ran for five years.
Mahomes was inbounds when Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai hit him. The Bengals were hit with the unnecessary roughness penalty, which gave the Chiefs a chance to hit a 45-yard game-winning field goal. Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker made the kick and the Chiefs sealed their Super Bowl place.
After the game was over, Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce acknowledged Mahomes' great play that gave the Chiefs a chance to hit a game-winning field goal. "Sure enough, on that last play, you saw it all come together. Moments like that just make it that much more special to be his teammate," Kelce said.
Next Sunday, the Chiefs will be facing the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl in Arizona. The Eagles avoided drama in their Championship Game as they ousted the San Francisco 49ers 31-7. Meanwhile, Mahomes now has two weeks to get his ankle ready for the Super Bowl.
Mahomes will be playing his third Super Bowl. After his first two Super Bowls, Mahomes has a 1-1 record.
