Dak Prescott reveals what he told Odell Beckham

Dak Prescott has underlined that the Dallas Cowboys would definitely like to sign Odell Beckham and suggested the star wide receiver also has an interest in signing with the Cowboys. On Thursday, the Cowboys play the New York Giants.

After their Thanksgiving game, Beckham is scheduled to meet with the Cowboys and Giants. "He knows how much I want him here, and a lot of these guys in this locker room I've seen have reached out on their own in different ways to making sure that he understands that this is a team that he can help.

And we want him to come help," Prescott said. After stating that he wants Beckham to sign with the Cowboys, Prescott was asked what he told Beckham. "Mutual, honestly, mutual," Prescott said.

Prescott on Beckham's upcoming decision

Beckham started his career with the Giants and the regime that decided to move on from in 2019 is no longer in New York.

With that being said, Beckham returning to New York is a possibility. "But right now I guess it's who can recruit better. And, yeah, I don't know necessarily about what he's looking for when it comes to the numbers and long term and all that, but I know that we want him here and hope it all works out," Prescott added.

In recent days, several Cowboys players have openly recruited Beckham. Micah Parsons, who is already one of the best defensive players in the league, didn't hold back when asked how much he would like the Cowboys to sign Beckham.

"S---, we can use him. I think he's a great player. He'll expand this offense. He's a guy you want on the team beside all the other critics stuff that people make up and s--- about him. He can add real value to the team and help us do what we want to do.

If the guy on the market is talking about he wants to play, and he wants to win games, then s---, me too. I want to win it just as bad as you do. If you want to win games, come win games over here. Help us get to that bowl that you want.

I want it," Parsons said. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones himself confirmed the Cowboys want to sign Beckham. "Odell is someone that we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor. I know the Cowboys star on that helmet, when he puts it on, could look pretty good," Jones said of Beckham.
