Davante Adams thinks not having enough guys that are "fully bought in" is the main reason why the Las Vegas Raiders are having a disaster of a season. On Sunday, the Raiders suffered a 25-20 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts on their home field.

For the Raiders, it was their third consecutive defeat as they now sit at 2-7. “Just don’t have enough guys that are fully bought in. I don’t think people are like, you know, ‘F what [McDaniels] is talking about’ or ‘I’m going against the grain.’ It’s just a matter of executing when it’s time.

It means playing a complete game, every minute of the game, giving it everything you’ve got. It’s doing your job and making the plays when you’re called on and get the opportunities, and we just don’t do that at a high enough level right now," Adams said, per Pro Football Talk.

Adams, Derek Carr weigh in on the Raiders' struggles

Following the Raiders' latest loss, quarterback Carr became very emotional and broke down in tears. In his post-game interview, Carr suggested that not every player on the team is fully committed.

“I can’t speak for everybody, for every man, what’s going on in their head. But I can tell you what’s going on in my head and I’m going to give it all that I can every single time. You know, I don’t think so.

I love Josh. I love our coaches. They’ve had nothing but success, you know? Way more success than I’ve ever had. I’m sorry for being emotional. I’m just pissed off by some of the things that a lot of us try and do just to practice.

What we put our bodies through just to sleep at night. And for that to be the result of all that effort pisses me off — pisses a lot of guys off. It’s hard knowing what some guys are doing, like I said, just to practice.

What they’re putting in their body just to sleep at night. Just so we can be there for each other. And I wish everybody in that room felt the same way about this place. And as a leader, that pisses me off, if I’m being honest," Carr said.

The Raiders entered this season with Super Bowl aspirations but instead they have been one of the worst teams this year.
