Kevin Durant to meet with Nets owner this week?

Kevin Durant is reportedly set to meet with Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai this week, one NBA executive told Steve Bulpett of Heavy Sports. In late June, Durant requested a trade from the Nets. Just more than a month has passed since Durant's trade request and nothing concrete has happened yet.
Bulpe “What I’m hearing is that KD is going to meet with the owner this week,” the NBA executive told Bullpett, who works for Heavy Sports. “He’s going to go directly to the owner, Joe Tsai, sometime this week.
We’ll see how that works”. When asked about the meeting, the anonymous NBA executive couldn't provide much. Durant has been quiet since requested a trade and some think he may change his mind and decide to return to the Nets.
“I don’t know,” the executive said. “I have no idea what’s going to come of that meeting. There are some things that KD is unhappy about, and I’m not sure any of that gets fixed here. But maybe it does”.
Another executive doesn't think the Nets will trade Durant
The Boston Celtics reportedly made a trade offer to the Nets, centered on Durant and Jaylen Brown. Speaking to a second NBA executive, Bulpett noted that there are teams around the NBA who are not happy about the Nets publicly revealing trade offers they receive.
A third NBA executive to which Bulpett spoke revealed that he feels Durant will eventually stay with the Nets. Durant has four years on his current contract and the Nets don't really feel the pressure to trade him because he can't leave them anytime soon on his own.
“My bet is they don’t trade either one of them,” said the third executive with which Bulpett spoke. “Maybe Kyrie. I don’t see them trading Durant, because they’re not going to get back what they should.
And I wouldn’t trade him either. The hell with it. He signed the deal. The hell with it, right? I don’t see KD being a hard line guy, either. If they can’t get a deal done, he’s just going to say, ‘[Expletive] it,’ and he’ll play — and he’ll play hard like he always does.
I know KD, and he’s not going to sit out or anything like that. He’s not that kind of guy. There’s no way. He’s not going to do anything like that”.
