Sacramento Kings' star guard De'Aaron Fox, affectionately known as “Swipa,” is set to make an impactful return in the upcoming high-stakes game against the Phoenix Suns this Tuesday. Since his last appearance on the injury report back on December 16 during the Kings’ 125-104 victory over the Utah Jazz, Fox has been a consistent presence in the lineup.

His contribution has been pivotal in the team’s recent performances, leading them to an 8-7 record over their last 15 games. Fox’s return comes at a crucial time as the Kings look to rebound from two consecutive losses.

The team suffered a 112-93 defeat against the Philadelphia 76ers, followed by a narrow 143-142 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. As the Kings wrap up their five-game road trip with a visit to Phoenix, Fox’s role will be more crucial than ever.

Currently, Fox is enjoying a career-best season, averaging 27.8 points, 5.8 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. His presence on the court significantly boosts the Kings’ chances of securing a victory against the Suns.

Fox's Injury Comeback

Regarding his health, Fox has missed six games out of the Kings’ 39 this season. His initial setback was an ankle sprain sustained in a game against the LA Lakers on October 29. Following this, he was sidelined for five games but made a triumphant return on November 13, leading the Kings to a 132-120 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Despite his brief hiatus, Fox showed no signs of rust, scoring a team-high 28 points along with six assists. Fox was in top form until mid-December when shoulder tightness benched him for a game against the Utah Jazz. Since his return, he has remained injury-free and continues to exhibit stellar performances, albeit with inconsistent support from the team, barring co-star Domantas Sabonis.

With no current mention of Fox on the injury report, he is expected to be fully prepared for the upcoming game. For fans eager to catch this exciting matchup, the game will be held at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. While it won’t be broadcast on national television, viewers can access the game through the NBA League Pass.

Local networks such as NBC Sports California and Arizona’s Family 3TV/Arizona’s Family Sports will also provide coverage of the event. This game promises to be a showcase of talent and strategy, featuring not only Fox but other renowned players like Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker.
