Denver Nuggets' star player, Nikola Jokic, is poised to showcase his skills in the upcoming home game against the Indiana Pacers. This highly anticipated match is scheduled for Sunday, January 14, at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, tipping off at 3:30 p.m.

Eastern Time. Fans eager to catch the live action can tune in to Altitude and Bally Sports Indiana, with both channels offering live streaming options through NBA League Pass.

Jokic Confirmed to Play

The Denver Nuggets, currently a powerhouse in the NBA Western Conference with a record of 27-13, are positioned just behind the Minnesota Timberwolves and OKC Thunder.

Jokic, a two-time NBA MVP and a pivotal figure in the Nuggets' lineup, is confirmed to play in the upcoming game. His participation comes as a relief to fans, especially considering his history of injuries this season. The Serbian center had previously missed a game against the LA Clippers on November 27 due to a back injury.

Additionally, he battled through a wrist injury earlier in the season. Jokic's resilience and determination to play through these challenges underscore his value to the team. As for the team's injury report, Peyton Watson and Christian Braun are listed as 'probable', while Julian Strawther and Vlatko Cancar are sidelined with injuries.

This sets the stage for Jokic and his teammates to take on the Pacers without significant absences. Reflecting on his performances against the Pacers, Jokic's last encounter with them on November 9, 2022, was remarkable. He put up 24 points, six assists, four rebounds, and two steals in just 21 minutes of play.

However, he was notably absent in their last face-off on January 20, 2023, a game the Nuggets won convincingly with a 23-point margin. Jokic's recent form has been impressive, coming off a stellar performance against the New Orleans Pelicans, where he notched a triple-double.

His 27 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds, and one block, along with an efficient 11-of-17 shooting from the field, were instrumental in the Nuggets' 12-point victory. Looking ahead, the Nuggets are set for a challenging five-game road trip starting January 16.

This stretch will see them clash with top-tier teams like the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards, and a rematch with the Pacers and New York Knicks. With Jokic at the helm, the Nuggets aim to solidify their standing in the Western Conference and continue their pursuit of NBA supremacy.
