The Denver Nuggets defeated the Brooklyn Nets with a final score of 122-117 in New York. This game marked the third consecutive victory of the Nuggets against the Nets, but also showed the exceptional performance of the Serbian center Nikola Jokic, who wrote his name in the Denver history books as one of the living legends and fans' favorite.

The Nuggets opened up an impressive 11-point lead in the first quarter. However, the Nets responded with a three-point shot, quickly erasing the visitors' lead. The first quarter ended with a tied score of 28-28, and you could already see that it was going to be a tough game.

As the game wore on, the Nets dominated the second quarter and the first half of the third, maintaining consistent leads of seven or more points. In the last four minutes of the third period, led by the exceptional efforts of Nikola Jokic, Denver managed to regain the lead.

On several occasions in the fourth quarter, Johnson and Bridges brought the advantage to Brooklyn, but the Canadian basketball player Jamal Murray scored points from the penalty line to bring the Nuggets back to the advantage.

The performances of the key players were notable, and Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic combined to score more than half of the Nuggets' total points. Murray, the Canadian sensation, contributed 32 points with nine assists, while Jokic showed all-around brilliance with 31 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.

A historic moment occurred during the game when Nikola Jokic became Denver's all-time leading rebounder, securing his spot as the top center in franchise history with an impressive 6,631 career total.

This achievement cements his status as a key figure in the Nuggets' success and establishes him as one of the club's active living legends. The Denver Nuggets celebrated a well-deserved victory, although they did not dominate throughout the match, Jokic and Murray in a good mood decided the outcome of the match.

The Denver Nuggets' next match is on the road against the Charlotte Hornets. Led by the great Jokic, they will try to record another victory and consolidate their place as one of the strongest contenders for winning the league.
