Nikola Jokic was unstoppable again, leading the Denver Nuggets to a convincing 124-101 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night. The Serbian superstar registered a new triple-double, the 115th in his career, and thus etched himself into the history of the NBA.

Jokic became the first player ever to record 10 or more triple-doubles in seven consecutive seasons. It's a testament to his incredible consistency and all-around dominance, we have to be aware that the season has just started, and Jokic already has 10+ triple doubles, which seems incredible.

Jokic's statistics speak for themselves

Joker's performance was nothing short of phenomenal. He finished the game with 26 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in just under 30 minutes of play. His shooting efficiency was impressive, going 8-for-12 from the field and 10-for-12 from the free throw line.

But Jokic's impact went beyond statistics. He was the engine that drove the Nuggets offense, orchestrated plays and made his teammates better. He was also a defensive force, contributing key blocks and steals throughout the game.

The turning point in the third quarter

In the third quarter, Jokic really took the lead. He sparked one of Denver's most memorable plays of the season, a counterattack that resulted in an attractive dunk by Aaron Gordon. It was a display of Jokic's passing vision, regardless of the fact that he always scores a lot of points, assists are what always fascinate us.

By the end of the third quarter, Jokic had secured his triple-double, putting the game out of Brooklyn's reach. His leadership and playmaking were key in the Nuggets' victory.

Murray's Return a Welcome Boost

The victory was further sweetened by the return of Jamal Murray, who scored 16 points in his first game back from missing time with an injury.

Murray's presence gives the Nuggets another dimension to their offense. With Jokic at the helm and Murray back in the lineup, the Denver Nuggets are a team no one is safe against in the Western Conference.
