The Phoenix Suns held on for a thrilling 119-116 victory over the Golden State Warriors in last night's heated NBA derby game. Devin Booker led the way for the Suns with a game-high 32 points, including a key free throw with ten seconds remaining to seal the win.

Invaluable support for Booker came from the Bosnian Beast Jusuf Nurkic, who recorded a double-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists. Bradley Beal and Jordan Goodwin each added 16 points and contributed to the Suns' offensive success.

Despite Steph Curry's 24-point performance, the Warriors lacked consistent support in the starting lineup. Klay Thompson struggled to find his rhythm, shooting only 2-for-10 from the field and 1-for-8 from three-point range.

Green shows boxing skills again

The most shocking moment of the night occurred in the third quarter when Draymond Green was ejected after punching Nurkic in the face. As they jostled for position, Green inexplicably threw a powerful punch, leaving Nurkic stunned but thankfully unharmed.

"It has nothing to do with basketball," Nurkic said after the game, clearly shaken by the incident. "I'm just trying to play basketball." Green, known for his fiery personality, offered a surprising apology after his ejection.

"As you know, I make no apologies for the things I set out to do," he said. "But I apologize to Yusuf because I didn't mean to hit him." Green's outburst overshadowed the Warriors' impressive bench performances. Brendin Podziemski shone with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Jonathan Kuminga and Dario Saric added 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Chris Paul, despite 11 assists, could only score 15 points, further highlighting the Warriors' reliance on Curry and their bench players. The win marks a crucial victory for the Suns, solidifying their position in the competitive Western Conference.

The Warriors, on the other hand, will need to address their inconsistency and find a way to contain Draymond Green's emotional outbursts if they want to fulfill their championship aspirations.
