The Denver Nuggets suffered a disappointing 121-109 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road in their 13th match of the NBA season. Despite a solid performance from Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets were unable to overcome the Cavaliers' hot shooting and aggressive play.

Jokic, the two-time reigning MVP, recorded a double-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists in 28 minutes of action. He shot 8-for-13 from the field but did not attempt a three-pointer. Michael Porter Jr. was also a bright spot for the Nuggets, scoring 21 points and grabbing six rebounds.

Christian Brown added 13 points, and Aaron Gordon chipped in with 11 points and five assists. The Cavaliers, who were without leading scorer Donovan Mitchell, took control of the game in the second quarter and never looked back.

They built a double-digit lead that they maintained for most of the game. Darius Garland led the Cavaliers with 26 points, and Craig Porter added 21 points. The Nuggets were outscored 63-43 in the paint and outrebounded 47-33.

They also committed 18 turnovers, while the Cavaliers had just eight. The loss dropped the Nuggets to 9-4 on the season, while the Cavaliers improved to 7-6. The Nuggets will travel to face the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, November 22.

The Cavaliers will host the Indiana Pacers on the same day.
