The Bulls continued to chip away at the Heat's lead in the second half, and they finally tied the game at 97-97 with just over a minute left in the game. Demar DeRozan then hit a three-pointer to give the Bulls a 100-97 lead, and they held on for the victory.
DeRozan led the Bulls with 23 points and four rebounds and assists. Nikola Vucevic added 15 points and eight rebounds. Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 25 points. Bam Adebayo had 24 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. The Bulls are now 9-4 on the season, while the Heat are 7-6. In their next game, the Bulls will host the Indiana Pacers. The Heat will host the Oklahoma City Thunder.
