The Milwaukee basketball players delivered a convincing performance as they triumphed over Toronto with a final score of 128 to 112 on the road. Despite the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was sidelined due to injury, Milwaukee showcased resilience and dominance throughout the game.

Toronto, though, struggled to mount a substantial resistance in the absence of Antetokounmpo, who missed the game due to a calf injury, leaving a noticeable void in their lineup. Stepping into the role of team leader in an exemplary fashion, Damian Lillard exhibited a stellar performance, contributing a remarkable 37 points.

Malik Beasley played a crucial supporting role, scoring seven points less but significantly bolstering Milwaukee's offensive efforts. In Toronto, Scott Barnes emerged as the most effective player with an impressive 29 points.

However, the lack of substantial support from his teammates hindered Toronto's ability to counter Milwaukee's dominance. Jakob Poeltl finished the game with 13 points, while Precious Achiuwa, Chris Boucher, and Pascal Siakam each contributed 11 points.

Right from the start of the match, the guests took the initiative, built a double-digit advantage and then almost routinely led the match to the seventh victory of the season. There were a few good moments for Toronto where it seemed that they would be able to turn the game in their favor, but Damian Lillard "calmed down" the Toronto players with constant pressure and points.

Toronto coach Darko Rajakovic was visibly annoyed and was loudly giving instructions to his players the whole time, but in the end even that didn't help them against a moody Lillard and his team. The defeat marks Toronto's sixth loss, and they now face a challenging schedule with two upcoming home matches against Boston and Detroit in the next three days.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee looks ahead to their next challenge with a visit to Charlotte, aiming to maintain their momentum in the league. The victory on the road without Antetokounmpo underscores Milwaukee's depth and ability to adapt to challenges, setting a positive tone for the team's aspirations in the ongoing season. Damian Lillard has shown that he is a leader and that he can lead the team by himself.
