Paul George admitted that LeBron James had that "scary look" on his face in the fourth quarter of the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers game. On Tuesday night, James scored 13 points and had two stunning dunks in a span of four minutes to help the Lakers cut the Clippers' lead from 21 to 10.

Even though James finished with a game-high 46 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, the Clippers were able to escape with a 133-115 win. "It was scary. I've seen that look in Bron," George said of James' performance, per ESPN.

James, who turned 38 in late December, is still a very strong figure in the NBA world. After the Clippers and Lakers game, George took a moment to acknowledge James' greatness. "It's just incredible.

I think the one thing that sticks out is just how long he's been doing it. To be 38 [and score] 46 tonight. That is super impressive. To do it [for] 20 years, that's what stands out the most is just his longevity in his game and to be available.

He's pretty much been available throughout his whole career. The league is his. Stand-up guy, been [an] amazing mentor, leader to a lot of us young guys, and he's been awesome. It's great that he'll be the scoring leader," George said of James.

Following his 46-point performance against the Clippers, James came within 178 points of passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA's all-time leading scorer. After George, Kawhi Leonard also praised James. "I didn't think of it too much until he's gotten closer and closer.

I mean, [James is] one-of-one talent right there. You see it for yourself, the way he's playing at this age. Definitely inspirational for everyone, just to sustain that energy and that mindset to play that long and still wanting to go out and contribute with this effort," Leonard said of James.
