Dylan Lupton will perform at NASCAR Truck and Xfinity

Dylan Lupton has decided to continue his career at Kyle Busch Motorsports where he will make his debut on September 5 driving a No. 51 Toyota. In the 2020 season, he drove for David Gilliland Racing. However, he is now ready for a new challenge that will surely be one of the biggest in his career.

In an interview with motorsport, Lupton talked about his impressions after the new engagement. After all that has happened, Lupton is overjoyed and thinks this is a dream come true for him. It is obvious that he is excited and that he is looking forward to his first race in which he will have a huge motive to prove himself, and considering the quality he possesses, we can expect a good result from him.

Lupton is aware of the pressure, but also is aware that he will have to resist the pressure and do his best to help his team achieve common goals. “The opportunity to drive the top-notch equipment that Kyle Busch Motorsports prepares is a dream come true,” said Lupton, an alumnus of the NASCAR Next program, which identified up-and-coming NASCAR talent.

“The No. 51 team always prepares fast Tundras and I’m extremely excited to get to Darlington and be able to showcase my talent”.

Sam Hunt Racing

In addition, Sam Hunt Racing announced that Lupton will drive for their team on Thursday.

Lupton is happy about that, and believes that he will be able to achieve a good result, and that his team has set big goals for the upcoming races. “It’s been several years since I’ve competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, but Sam is making my return seamless,” Lupton said.

“Andrew (Abbott, crew chief) and the entire Sam Hunt Racing team have done a great job building the program this season and I feel like with a little luck we can go out and not only be competitive in our races together, but hopefully contend for top-10 finishes too.

Sam Hunt was overjoyed after the decision that Lupton will drive for his team. He thinks that he will have a great relationship and that Lupton can really help his team in the rest of the season. “He’s a great guy and fits the personality of our race team well.

He brings a positive and mature attitude toward our shop, has realistic yet challenging goals, and seems like a true team player. “I think we will have a lot of fun working together and know he will give us his all”.
